Men’s tweed suits and tweed blazers

A historical fabric designed for the weather-beaten terrain of the Scottish Highlands.

For those who want a tweed suit or a tweed blazer, we offer tweed fabrics from Scotland and Italy. Additionally, we also have many flannels that feature heavier wools with fantastic patterns for those who don’t like tweed’s itchy hand.

The most iconic tweed comes from the Harris Islands woven specifically in Scotland and is authenticated by the Harris Tweed Authority that provides its stamp and label. All these tweeds are spun and handwoven by islanders in their homes in the Outer Hebrides from virgin wool. Tweed can be used for blazers and suits, although they are more casual than formal.

Perfect for fall-winter weddings in a more rustic setting, a tweed wedding suit is a much more casual choice for grooms. While not ideal for city venues, tweed looks great on the countryside due to its rural estate roots. Any of our tweed suits can be used for a wedding.

For a classic approach to countryside suiting, brown tweed suits are best in rural settings and informal instances. Tones of ochre, chocolate, bark and rust will dominate the yarns used in these fabrics.

Green tweed can come in a variety of colors taken from nature: moss, forest, peat. Originally, green tweed suits have their history as sporting suits worn while hunting and acted as a camouflage cloth. Now, patterns in green tweed brings more personality thru checks and flecks of other colors in the yarns.

Earthy tones. Refined texture. Timeless versatility.

Tweed and flannel suits deliver what smooth worsted wool cannot: a balance between relaxed ease and sartorial refinement. With their softly brushed or textured surfaces, these fabrics feel inviting to the touch, drape beautifully, and carry a character that is at once rugged and elegant. They’re the suits you reach for when you want warmth, comfort, and versatility — worn either as a complete suit or broken out into interchangeable separates.

People often confuse flannel and tweed, but the best way to remember is simple: tweed is rugged and patterned, while flannel is smooth, brushed, and refined. Tweed, born in the Scottish and Irish countryside estates, was woven for hunting, fishing, and country pursuits — enduring, weather-ready, and richly patterned. Flannel, born of English heritage, is a brushed wool refined for city tailoring, ceremonial events, and elegant leisure that moves seamlessly between formal settings, casual style, and natural backdrops alike.

Flannel especially shines in earthy tones — browns, moss greens, oatmeals, and muted grays — shades that look natural and effortless through cooler seasons and climates. Tweed, with its heritage patterns like herringbone, houndstooth and checks, offers the perfect complement for countryside charm or sartorial sophistication.
