🧼 Washing & Drying
Method: Hand wash inside out in a sink using a gentle detergent like Woolite.
The "No-Wring" Rule: Never wring or twist the fabric. Gently squeeze to circulate soap and water.
Drying: Lay the garment flat on a towel.
Warning: Never use a dryer (shrinkage) or a hanger (stretching/distortion).
🧊 Stain Management
Immediate Action: Blot food stains with cold water (do not rub).
Professional Help: Take it to a dry cleaner ASAP and specifically request a spot clean.
🛌 Storage & Rest
Rotation: Avoid wearing the knit more than two days in a row. Let the fibers "rest" flat after wear.
Folding is Key: Never hang your knits. Fold them to prevent "hanger bumps" and irregular stretching.
Protection: Store in a plastic container or cedar chest. Use a moth repellent to protect the natural fibers.

Wrinkles: Don't iron. Instead, drape the knit in a steamy bathroom to let the moisture relax the creases.
Pilling: It’s normal for new garments to pill early on. It usually stops after 2–3 washes. Use a sweater stone or electric de-piller to keep the surface smooth.
Frequency: Because wool and cashmere are naturally odor-resistant, you can go a long time between washes.
Pro Tip: When laying your knit flat to dry on a towel, you can "roll" the towel up like a sleeping bag with the knit inside and press down to absorb excess moisture before unrolling it to finish air-drying. This speeds up the process significantly without risking the shape
