Justin’s Blue Tuxedo: Classic Satin Lapels, Contemporary Waistcoat Detail

For this look, we built a blue tuxedo defined by sharp contrast and understated formality. The satin peak lapels brought clarity to the silhouette, giving the jacket a crisp line that photographed beautifully in both natural light and evening settings.

At the center of the outfit was a double-breasted waistcoat cut with a low gorge — a detail that opens the chest, lengthens the torso, and adds depth without calling attention to itself. It’s a traditional element, but when paired with a modern blue tone and clean tailoring, it reads refined rather than ceremonial.

The trousers were kept classic and slim, allowing the waistcoat and lapels to carry the structure of the look. A white dress shirt and black bow tie grounded everything in formalwear tradition, while the blue provided a subtle point of distinction.

The result is a tuxedo that feels confident and balanced: formal, but not rigid; classic, but not predictable.
