Silk suit - dupioni silk
Our silk Dupioni fabris have a slubby appearance as the silk is completely hand-woven, raw and not washed. The naturally slubby appearance is particularly strong in Loro Piana Silk Air and Loro Piana Mare fabric options (pictured below). Silk connoisseurs appreciate the slubby imperfections because of the what it represents (pure silk with 100% handwork) while some may prefer the pristine texture of a bamboo or wool suit.
