BLUE HOUNDSTOOTH

We took the classic pattern and blew it up to a bolder woven shirt. Think of it as the shirt you wear when you’re not wearing a tie with a suit. The robust fabric also has a wrinkle-resistant weave. Wear it with grey and blue suits alike.

PINK OXFORD

We found the heaviest oxford cloth fabric we could find for this shirt because we know when it comes to oxford cloth it’ll only get softer over time. While we got rid of the classic button-down collar, we did include a pocket as a nod to this Ivy-League era staple. And pink works great as a shirt to give your face some color — we think it’s a great shirt to wear to Sunday brunch.

BLUE STRIATED

We’re always looking for fabrics that have an interesting texture and definitely found it in this cloth. Subtle variations in the yarns give a melange effect that shows off the texture as well. And with warmer weather coming up, who doesn’t want a blue shirt that’s a bit happier in tone, too?

Styles are designed personally by founders Richard Hall and McGregor Madden. Quarterly subscribers receive a box of 3 dress shirts that fit great and are both office and casual appropriate.

Shirt Box 1 2019

BLUE CROSSES We saw this unique fabric and knew it’d be a fun addition to this box. The small navy crosses on a white background make for a shirt that can be worn with denim or even under a dark suit in the evenings. The blue buttons bring color when worn without a necktie. LIGHT BLUE DOUBLE WINDOWPANE The perfect business casual dress shirt in a classic color that goes with everything, but a unique pattern that’s not too loud. Wear this with khaki chinos, 5-pocket corduroys, and dress trousers. Or dress it up under a grey suit. GREY HOUNDSTOOTH It’s not too often wen find grey dress shirts that have something different about them in the weave. But we really like this houndstooth weave that gives great visual interest and has a nice hand feel. It works well with charcoal trousers and suits, and as an alternative color for under a navy jacket.

BLACK POPLIN

Made for evenings to be worn without a necktie. The fly front placket offers a modern, streamlined look that hides the buttons for a clean finish. Pair it with dark denim or under a black, charcoal or burgundy suit or jacket.

BLUE ROYAL OXFORD

An elevated and refined take to the Oxford cloth shirt. A bit more sheen and diamond weave gives a dressed-up appearance to the wardrobe staple. We’ve added a pocket, spread collar and plain placket to create a balanced business casual shirt.

BLUE-BROWN WINDOWPANE FLANNEL

Perfect shirt for the cooler months ahead. Horn buttons add a unique casualness to a hearty fabric. Pair it with your favorite jeans, five-pocket corduroys or rugged chinos and under tweed jackets.

WHITE LINEN

Perfect for the humidity and heat of the summer months, this classic white linen shirt goes great with a tan and with any combination from a standard wool suit to more casual cotton suiting. Wear it untucked with your favorite shorts with the sleeves rolled up. Linen — the oldest natural fiber in the world — breathes well, is incredibly strong and allows moisture to evaporate off your skin faster.

BLUE DIAMONDS

We love a complex weave in a classic color and this shirt offers a unique take not often seen. The texture has a great hand feel while giving you all the versatility that a blue shirt offers from formal to business casual dress. Taking any sort of necktie, this shirt runs the gamut, but consider picking up a tie with bottle green in it for a surprising and uncommon pairing.

RUBY-BLUE GINGHAM

An ideal shirt to wear sans neckwear with a colorful checked pattern. Pairs easily with chinos (navy or khaki) and can liven up a navy suit quite well. Attending a wedding? Wear it under a light grey sharkskin suit with a darker navy necktie.

WHITE PINPOINT OXFORD A formal business shirt with a classic weave, our French-cuffed white shirt has a clean French placket to match. This is a great go-to shirt for any formal event and under any suit. Make it your go-to for interviews and evenings. Have some fun with silk knot cufflinks or use your own. BLUE CHAMBRAY WINDOWPANE Our chambray shirts in the past were hits, so we’ve found a new one with a subtle white windowpane pattern. With a placket front, this shirt balances the casual nature that pairs well with chinos and denim. PINK GINGHAM Just in time for spring and summer, this new take on a previous style features some fun details. With a contrast navy buttonhole stitching at the top, there’s a unique bit of color when worn tie-less. And a placket front and pocket to add to this more casual shirt. Wear it on its own or under a light grey suit for summer weddings.

1. CHARCOAL CHAMBRAY The perfect shirt to wear with denim going into the colder months. With a classic placket and a button-down collar, wear it on its own or under chunky knit sweaters. And check out the natural horn buttons, too, which add a rustic casual touch.   2. BLUE GLEN PLAID A slightly bolder take on the classic light blue dress shirt. With a semi-spread collar and raised placket, wear this under any grey suit and pair with a solid or “neat” patterned navy necktie for a traditional American business look. Also works great under a navy blazer without a tie and with chinos.   3. DENIM BLUE WOVEN A unique, triangular weave that’s similar to a royal oxford, this shirt has a surface that’s unlike others. With alternating dark, denim-toned and white threads, it’s a modernized take on the traditional oxford-cloth. Wear it with black denim and a dark blazer in the evenings, or with navy trousers and brown jacket in the day. The semi-spread collar allows you to wear it with a tie if you wish — we recommend one that’s dark and slim.

Shirt Box 1 2017

Founders Richard Hall and McGregor Madden designed these 3 shirts for Box 1 of 2017. All quarterly subscribers will receive a box of the same 3 dress shirts that fit great and are both office and casual appropriate.

Navy brown small check (LT-31)

The perfect shirt to wear without a necktie under a solid navy blazer or with a more casual suit. In a natural complimentary color combination of blue and brown, it's simple to layer under sweaters and with your favorite jeans or khakis. Consider experimenting with a solid brown silk knit tie, too.

Blue White Twill Stripe (LT-32)

A classic business casual shirt and we've added a pocket to stash your phone or sunglasses. Wear this shirt with traditional club or repp stripe ties under a suit in any grey or blue shade. Take note of the fabric, too, with it's extra soft hand that's finished for an incredible touch.

Navy Double Windowpane (LT-33)

A bit heftier fabric that feels like a microlight flannel, but strikes a dressier tone. The 2 cm wide windowpane features a dual pindot pattern that is uniquely suited to work in casual and formal contexts. Pair with a dark necktie for a more formal look as an alternative to a plain white shirt. Or wear with a bold geometric necktie under a sport coat for a more sophisticated approach.

Worn under mid and light shades of grey suits or rich brown sport coats, this fall dress shirt uses a darker tone of the cooler seasons.     2. WHITE TWILL WITH SEMI-SPREAD COLLAR We've taken our white shirt and made it slightly more casual. Adding horn buttons and a chest pocket, feel free to wear this without a necktie and under a sport coat with chinos or corduroy trousers. Or wear it simply with your favorite pair of jeans.      3. BLUE-RED PLAID WITH SPREAD COLLAR Anchor this shirt down with a solid dark navy necktie with a navy or grey suit for an English look. Or sport it under your navy blazer with grey trousers to be worn tieless. Our favorite look, however, would be wearing it with a fuscia knit tie to play off the check's unique color.
